Description:

There is money to be made in the stock market. If a trader can find a competitive edge, some signal in the noise, they can consistently beat the market. Michael Bailey of PierPoint Group had found that secret sauce and was making profit but due to changes in the SAXO exchange, his system had stopped working.

Michael's brief was simple, replicate his working strategies on the "interactive brokers" stock exchange. As always, the devil's in the details. In order for Michael's strategy to work, we needed timing and accuracy, a trade at the right moment could make Michael rich, but the same trade made a few seconds late might drain his account.

To ensure that Michael's strategy worked, we used a live websocket connection to listen for realtime updates and respond immediately.

Michael's back up and running with interactive brokers and has even been able to develop new strategies that beat the market building on a much more solid proprietary trading connection which will continue to be a competitive advantage in a world where milliseconds are the difference between riches and failure.

This project demonstrates our capability to deliver software that performs when performance and accuracy are critical. Specifically in the Windows world, C#.Net, integrating with Excel, proprietary web socket formats. All the messy stuff that can mean the difference between success and failure in the trading world.

Client Feedback:

Eru took the time to understand my requirements in depth and provided thoughtful guidance throughout the process. His expertise in custom software, APIs, integrations, and secure system architecture was evident at every stage, and he consistently delivered high-quality work that exceeded expectations.

Michael was kind enough to record a video testimonial with me. Unfortunately I managed to mess up the screen recording but you can listen to the Audio here!
