Agile Product Development Process
Building a new software system or app does not happen overnight. Here is an overview of what the engagement process will look like. We focus on understanding your goals and requirements and then rapidly delivering high quality working software. This allows us to quickly respond and make sure we're working on the most important feature at all times. This is a lightweight version of the Agile development process used by leading consultancies.
1.Initial Consultation
Contact me for a free initial consultation, on site or over the phone/zoom to talk about your idea, requirements and project. From there we can work out the details of what we can achieve together.
2. High level estimates & project brief
Working together, we can understand the scope of the project and technology required. This will allow me to create a high level estimate and allow you to decide whether you want to move forwards. We might also involve a designer at this point.
3. Project Delivery (regular demo's)
During the project, my focus is on delivering high quality software working as quickly as possible, every two weeks or so we will do a product demo to see what has been built and talk about the next priorities.
5. Launch
I can host your project on my managed cloud infrastructure, or collaborate with your team to deploy your software. I will be on hand to perform any last minute tweaks.
6. Support and Maitainance
I will provide support and production monitoring as required. You or your developers will have full access and ownership of the delivered code. There will be no lock in, but there will be full support!
